AJ Ing – Teacher Bio

AJ Ing is a very versatile musician and educator with experience in many different genres, including Jazz, Latin, Funk and Blues. He is an award-winning drummer that has taken the stage at some of Toronto’s top music venues including The Rex Hotel, The Emmet Ray and Gate 403. AJ is currently going into his 4th and final year of the Bachelor of Music program at Humber College, specializing in drums and percussion. In 2014, he received the Mark Kelso percussion award for his advanced musical skills. Aside from performing in Toronto, AJ has also had the opportunity to perform in Dawson City, Yukon at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Gambling Hall, Canada’s oldest casino, for their 2015 season. AJ is one of the newest additions to the Just Drums teaching roster and has a growing list of happy students!
