So yeah, Steve Smith is kind of a big deal. As a drummer, Steve Smith has worked for, and with, the best. He is consistently pushing the boundaries of creative drumming and constantly expanding his strong musical voice at the top of the international drumming community.
And he want to come to our shop. He wants to hang. He wants to chat drums and meet fellow drummers in Toronto. We are so excited to have him and would love to see everyone of our friends and customers join us in welcoming Steve to our humble shop as he passes through on his massive tour with JOURNEY.
Just to put it into perspective as to what he’s done in the drumming industry;
He has been voted #1 “All-Around” Drummer five years in a row, in 2001 Modern Drummer magazine named Steve as one of the “Top 25 Drummer of All Time”, in 2002 he was voted into the “Modern Drummer Hall of Fame”

Steve is also excited to showoff and demo some of the awesome new Zildjian cymbals, the revamped AVEDIS line. A vintage recreation of the timeless sound and feel heard and played on thousands of top hits from the 30’s through the 60’s, from swing to bebop to the explosion of rock & roll. Named in honor of Avedis Zildjian III, the father of the modern American cymbal, this legendary sound has be remastered and is now available for a new generation of drummers.
