It's About Time
The Metronome is one of the most essential tools used to develop a drummer’s sense of timing. Using a metronome correctly will enable you to always stay in time when you are playing the drums, this way you can stay on time, and keep your band in time as well. There are many great metronomes on the market, the more advanced you get at drumming, the more advanced features you will need from your metronome. Some metronomes are able to play triplets, and different time signatures, while others are only good for quarter or eighth notes in 4/4 time.

Daniel Patrick Adair (born February 19, 1975) is a Canadian-born drummer best known as the current drummer for Canadian rock band Nickelback and his previous work with American rock band 3 Doors Down. He also works with the Canadian band Suspect and the instrumental fusion band Martone, among others.
Todd Sucherman Clinic @ Just Drums - 2010
The legendary drummer Todd Sucherman of STYX was at Just Drums on Wednesday March 17th for a clinic that inspired us all.
2009 saw Todd Sucherman win the Modern Drummer Reader's Poll for #1 Rock Drummer, #1 Educational DVD with "Methods and Mechanics" as well as #1 Clinician in DRUM! Magazine all while touring the world with the multi-platinum Styx and performing drum clinics and recording sessions from coast to coast. But the musical history began basically at birth.
